Alright Im gonna do the best I can to describe the situation and its symotoms.
1. It sounds kinds like Im driving a mix between a lawn mower and a turbo STI that sounds all gurgly of the line.

2. When I floor it(or even very conservative accel) it totally spudders all through the power band.

3. Itonly used to spudder up to 2500 rpm(for the last few weeks) and after that it cleared and drove fine.

4. It feels similar to driving with a clogged cat, but mine is hollowed out so it cant be that.

5. For good measure, in 3rd gear at about 40% throttle Im only driving/accel around 45mph.

So what do you guys think. I already know my motor is a POS an am in the process of a rebuild, but not finished for a few more weeks. The guy at the auto store didnt know what to recommend beside trying a fuel system cleaner. Help please...

 

IACV might cause that... try cleaning that out first since its cheap

 

i cleaned that recently, that would only affect idle minutely tho..

 

I don't know my *** from page 8, but I just got rid of a similar sputtering problem at the beginning of 1st and 2nd by changing out my air filter.
