It's not a stupid question if he doesn't know... sheesh.

There's lots of ways to go but unfortunately the route you want to go with the technology that is available for our cars is not a good one, yet. We lack a good tuning program. The only reason the boost kits crank out numbers is because hondata is working with the companies to build reflashes for those mods specifically. When you build an engine yourself you need someone to tune it, but with no software, its hard to do a custom build.

Typically you would want cams, pistons, rods, valve springs, the whole nine yards. Rev higher, more fuel, basically giving the engine more of everything it already has haha. I'm no expert on it though so I could be wrong about a lot but hey, i tried to answer.

Well, you already have just about everything you can do to these cars right now without boosting with a supercharger or turbo. Hytech has a NA package with cams, retainers, intake manifold, exhaust, and a Hondata custom reflash. It puts down about the same numbers as a supercharged car does, but then again it costs about as much.

My suggestion is to do a little suspension work and hold off on any other mods to make power until there is a good way to tune, otherwise your gains will be minimal

yeah, IT Guy's advice sounds good. your pretty much maxxed out without opening up the motor or boosting it.

look into the P2R Intake manifold gasket and throttle body spacer. I think the spacer has been dyno proven to pick up 6 or 7 hp? someone help me out with this one. I'm thinkin about pickin this stuff up soon. It should be more of a gain for you if you have all those mods. What suspension work do you have done? Do you have an aftermarket clutch or flywheel???

Cams, Ported and polish head, to smoothen the flow of Fuel, get Bigger injectors, suspenion work could also give more power, traction wise...overall, stroker kits, which may include, performance crankshaft, pistons, rods, valves springs etc...hope this will answer your question..

wonderful idea if we had tuning options

you won't get any gains out of those mods without engine management.
