Could make your headers rust real fast...
Might want to look into coating them instead.

Jet-Hot coating or HPC

Both worth the money.

Don't header wrap, you will ***** up your header.

How would it "***** up" the header? Are you talking about cosmetics, or damaging the parts of the header, or what? Less radiated heat means hotter, higher pressure, higher velocity exhaust gas for better scavenging. Less radiated heat into the engine bay to warm up the intake air. What is wrong with it?

Oh but yes if your header isn't stainless or coated, the wrap would retain road grime and water, accelerating corrosion. You need it coated if it is anything but coated or stainless.

I recomend coating then wrapping. You can pick up a box of ThermoTech wrap for $40.00 at PAW or now I thinks it's called Home Mechanics Warehouse.
