I have just swapped in a new d15b2 engine into my EG civic and used the core part of the harness that was attached to the new block which had all the same part number (P04). The engine looked pretty new and my old engine is rusted '94 jobby, could it be the wrong OBD dizzy if the new engine is indeed alot newer? Im doubting it but maybe. As above im getting no spark but it is cranking and soaking the plugs in petrol. Anyone got any ideas?

 

make sure all your grounds are perfectly grounded

 

The cambelt was snapped on the donor engine :S luckily its all ok with a new belt on. I shall check the valves and pistons for damage in a couple of weeks but its running fine for now. Just thought id report back

 

it will be your ecu wiring the icm chek if theres power going to it

 

Did you not see the post above? Its running fine now. The cam belt was snapped and I forgot to check this prior to putting the new engine in
