Default Question about ITR intake on a Civic SI EM1 ? ? ?

I have a 00 Civic Si w/ a GSR motor that has a skunk2 intake manifold. I was wondering if a comptech icebox from an ITR would fit? I currently have a intake that is made for a 00 Civic Si on my GSR swap and it fits perfect. I was wondering if an intake that came out of a 98 Civic w/ a complete ITR motor would fit in my Civic Si w/ a GSR motor & skunk2 intake manifold?

Answers ASAP appreciated.

I don't see what the problem would be.

I am not so sure. A member on here bought a gen II Mugen intake for his 00 Si. It would not mount correctly. There must be slight differences in the frame rails or mounting holes.

OP: Unless you are getting a killer deal for an ITR Icebox, why not just stick with the intake you have or get one designed for your car? The overall dimensions should be the same.

Because he probably has a killer deal on one.

What I don't understand is why the OP thinks the ITR forum would know the answer to this question.

Alright, Thanks. I think it should fit since his car was 98 Civic and mine is a 00 Si. The Skunk2 manifold on the GSR should hold the same intake as an ITR intake manifold, correct?

I don't know what the Skunk2 IM looks like, but IIRC, the stock GSR IM sits lower than the ITR's, so it will not fit.
