The price seems a little high. I would expect nothing but perfection for that car. But if you plan on modifing the car more then a few bolt ons (ie. turbo) get a base. Granted I love my SH but when I bought it I didn't think about turboing it. Now that I'm half way there I wish I had found a base.
BTW I paid 10,700 4 years ago for my 97 with some body damage ( rear bumper and front bumper ). Don't know if that will help but I have been seeing ludes 97-99 for 4500-8000.

Make sure water doesn't leak in the trunk. I have that issue with both my Ludes. Also check to see if the seatbelt rolls up or if you have to feed it in. That's a common problem but its just a nuisance, not really a problem/
make sure the stock spare wheel, stock jack, and tools are there. check for missing bolts and clips in the car, under the hood (bumper), and under the car. make sure the oil is at a good level.

only cuz i know him
otherwise that'd be a gay post.
i forgot inspire's phone# cuz i just talked to the owner... im 99% sure its not an SH. it has base wheels so I called and asked, the owner doesn't wrench. I asked him what transmission he has and he said "whats that?" so i think its just a very babied base model.
When has any SH owner ever put base model rims on?

Check to see that the core support and panels are original (check for wrench marks on the panel screws when you open the hood. Make sure that the Maintenance Required light doesn't come on when you turn on the lights (not visible without the lights on).
Can't you tell if it is an SH by the VIN#?
