Heater Core Question:
Before you ask: EJ8 (97 ex coupe) with B16. Carry on.
Just put in a new battery and dropped a Phillips head screwdriver tip in my engine bay. While searching for that little bastard I noticed that there was a little bit of gunk (rust colored, tanish) and a tiny drop of green antifreeze on the top of the hose that goes from the motor to the heater core (the line that runs on the far left side of the motor, under the IM and into the firewall). Just wondering if that's a sign the core is going bad, or maybe the line needs to be tightened?
The car has never ran hot, nor really lost any coolant. Any advice/information would be awesome.
