please help... i started to notice my stock civic missing in one morning and the light came on... i put the code reader and got P300, P1399, P303 etc.. It said the cylinders were missing is intermittently... P300, P1399, P303

i've changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coil, distributor cap and rotor, and air filter...

does anyone have any better ideas? crank position sensor, pcv?

any assistance would be appreciated.

 

have you replaced the dizzy itself?

 

i have not.. i usually only does it when i first start it, then it smooths out most of the time.. there is no smoke or funny smells.. there is no code right now so theres nothing to help...

 

now my civic only misses on the second cylinder. the code always comes back as p0302. there is no smoke so the rings are good. it misses after sitting up for a while, but never at high speeds... i changed the wire, spark plug, and injector. i noticed a little brown carbon on the injecter which makes me think either a valve is screwed up, or the headgasket is screwed up.

is there anything else i should be thinking about? again, its only returning p0302 which is missing on #2.
