Yeah, my car has evil squeaks and rattles, too. I think they are mainly coming from the hatch (i have a CRX). Do you have any ideas on how to stop this evil annoyance?

 

i have squeaks in my 4 dr i think coming from the rear doors cant find where?? they bug the hell out of me!!

when i was on the CRX hunt i noticed alot of them squeeked and rattled... The only rattle i have is from my exhaust and i'm gonna get it fixed. No squeeks or rust. Pretty sweet!

 

When you open your hatch, on the inside of the hatch there are 2 little rubber stoppers that can be screwed outwards to a desired length, this subtle addition by Honda's engineers will quiet your rattles.

 

I read this somewhere else too, i unscrewed them a bit(to bring them out) and it actullay did stop most of the rattles from the hatch, theres still a slight rattle, but u cant notice it if the radio's on.

 

rust. no.
dents. a few small ones.
squeaks. only in cold weather.
rattles. only when i had subs.

 

I have rust on my 1/4 panels but I hope to get that fixed soon!

I'm in the process of fixing rust right now, i'ce already done the engine compartment and right now I'm working on my front wheel wells, as for the body, i dont plan on getting that fixed perfessionally until i get the car painted, but for now i temporaly fixed it myself

 

I have all of the above. You can fix it.

I haven't tried the stopper thing...I'll have to do that...as for rust I fixed it pretty well I think...rust never sleeps so I just made sure it looked alright...I'll get it painted and hopefully it'll last till I graduate then I'll save for another rex or hatch and turn the old one into an auto-x car...

 

I use that spray foam insulation you can buy at home depot. Just insert the end of the tube behind the problem panel, give it a few small squirts, and away you go. Usually I can fix a squeak the first try.

Plus is foam, so it hardly weighs anything.
