Exactly a week ago I had my tranny rebuilt because my ring and pinion blew up. I noticed that going I have a grind going into 5th gear. Before I had my tranny serviced I didn't grind in any gears.
I have a warranty on the work so I want to bring it in when I can afford to be without my car, but I was wondering if a synchro was going out or perhaps something else was put together incorrectly to cause this problem (shift fork??). Thanks.
