Default b18c valve adjustment

i've done numerous valve adjustments on the LS and the b20 and did my first valve adjustment on my b18c. The specs are intake 0.006-0.007 and exhaust 0.007-0.008. I have a specialty tool similar to the snap-off tool. I also realized that it was very tedious job to do the adjustment on a lowered car where all the adjustments are deep inside the head and have to bend over nearly 90* the whole time to do it.

But my question is I was trying to make all the intake .006 and all exhaust .007, If some of the intake came out to .007 and some exhaust came out to .008 would it make a difference or no ?

according to the g2ic article, if you use a feeler gauge and measure accordingly, as long as there's slight drag on it, it should be fine.

i have a JDM B18c w/ a ported head and a S2 valves & springs and retainer and the builds been done about 2 years i paid originally to get it built, but its still strong just when i rev past 7500 rpm w/ full throttle it starts sputtering and spiting like i don't get enuf fuel or air and when the motor idles at 1000rpms i can hear the valves tic a little, when its cold more now, but about 3 months ago it revved to 9500 rpm strong how do i adjust that head to work like it did? if i do just a normal B18c gsr valve adjustment will it be the same for my after market valves and springs and retainer
