Default JDM suspension vs. USDM

Just wondering if the JDM 98+ springs/shocks are the same as the USDM 98+?

if they are the same, the US cars are going to horribly unbalanced, as the JDM/UKDM cars are balanced, and the suspension is adjusted to suit.

so it stands to reason if you put RHD suspension on a LHD car, it'd feel like ****

The spring rates and bushing rates are entirely different.

I believe the rear springrates are identical, but the front rates--the JDM ITR springs are slightly stiffer.

As far as shock valving, don't know if I've ever seen an answer to this.

I was just wondering if the USDM suspension was higher than the JDM due to the 16" wheels. Thinking about getting a set...and want it to not look like a 4x4.
