hey my 92 accord has a rev of 3500 rpm. i recently bought and after being sitting for about a year a finally got it working. it has good spark and everything but it hesitates when it takes off and below 2000 rpm. could this be because of my fuel pressure being too low?? maybe the regulator is sticking open??? any help would be appreciated!

 

It stays at 3500? It could be alot of things... maybe a vaccuum leak?

my 91 accord is doing kinda the same thing. below 2000 rpm, it misses and hesitates, then quickly accelarates to 5500 rpm were it sits at 5500 rpm and smokes black like it is flooding, dont know what it is and am tired of replacing things. It is not in limp home mode. computer shows no code and does the same thing after reset.

 

well i don't know what it was but i managed to get myself some used injectors and fuel pressure regulator and that did it. i guess it wasn't a vacuum problem so maybe it was my fuel regulator and i had no pressure on my fuel rail!!??? but now my accord rrevs normal.
