Default Single slammer vtec

recently installed a stg 2 cam in my Z6, with hope of a little louder crossover..( laugh)
but that didnt happen.. My friends Y8 is very noticeable compared to mine... and the only z6 i have ever heard with a noticeable crossover is my friends with the same cam, no port work, but with higher compression integra pistons..

my question is, why is the y8 crossover so much different (louder) than a z6? intake mani, different combustion chamber size, what else could it be?

i dont have any CEL's but ive always questioned something mechanically not functioning in my engine.. maybe its just me.

Thanks for any input guys

Installing a cam just to make a z6's VTEC "loud" is pathetic...

i had a z6.....crossover sucked.... but it went.
friend had y8..... crossover loud ...but it went...no where.
point. dont know why the y8 vtec is loud and the z6 isnt. but honestly why are you so worried about it. if its that big of a deal just buy an itr motor and problem solved

No, I meant the intake as in everything in front of the throttle body. (Of course I wasn't being serious...)
