Help with a 01' P28 ecu?

Default Help with a 01' P72 ecu?

I have a 01' gsr motor in a 99 hatch and im trying to use the 01' p72 ecu everything is good except for the fact that in 01' Acura has an igniton immobilizer. Is there a way to get around it?.....

there's an 01' p28???? i believe it was only 92 - 95...

if you read what he put guys he said he is trying to use the 01 p72 though

go back to the person who stole the motor. ask them for the key. lol jk jk.

You either have to:

get the ignition switch and key for the car that the ECU was from. This can be costly.

Or you can get a 99 GSR ecu.

Or you can do a OBD2B - OBD2A conversion (if they make that) and just get a 96-98 GSR ECU. (your car is OBD2B)

Or you can do a OBD1 conversion. Buy an OBD2B to OBD1 conversion harness and either a chipped P28 or a OBD1 GSR ecu. Buy a 99 EX computer for emissions time.

Or you can send it out to me and ill remove that damn Immo. more cost effective then key and igninton.

or just open the ECU case and rock the raised board back and fourth untill it breaks off, then you will have a constant CEL, your car will run but you will fail emissions

thats a kewl thread...
that will not work with prelude ecu's tho. they wont even start if you remove the immo board.
with acura ecus you can put a hack board in place of the immo that will not tho any cells, and it will disable the immo. preluds dont have this hack. from all that ive read there is no fix for immo with prelude ecus.

I have a new acura ignition but I dnt knw where the immobilizer wires go to? ecu?... I dnt have a wiring diagram to where to connect those wires?... I was trying to find a easy way to get around it, and still have everything work as it should cus remember im getting this swap bar'd

YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THEY WIRING CAUSE CIVIC DID NOT COME WITH THE IMMOBILIZER FEATURE BUT ALSO IF YOU WANT A P2T SI ECU WILL LET YOUR CAR RUN TO
