Default jdm b16 problem wont idle

running a chipped p28. performance wise, awesome. it is loading up and smells like raw gas at idle. and it is also surging on idle. i tried another chipped ecu that my buddy had and it does the same thing. but its fine with a stock p28. and it is not throwing any codes with any of the ecus.i replaced(with known good parts) iacv, map sensor, plug(new),distributor, fuel pressure regulator, cleaned throttle body, adjusted the valves , . man this thing has me pulling my hair out. any help would be appreciative
i also am running one of those...straight through cheater catalytic convertors.

the straight through cat pipe should not cause the problem..have u checked the spark plugs firing order? all the ground wires are good ?i have a jdm b16 too running with a chipped p28 ecu..runs perfect and drives perfect..

yo plug up the new ecu.. disconnect your map sensor and see how it runs. IE- on the back of your mani. if it still fails to idle properly and there are no codes... idk what to tell you

apparently it was the tps sensor. that was the only thing i did not replace on the whole motor. and it did not throw a code at all. si i figured i would try it. and it works.
