Default Edelbrock Pro Flow Header #6737

I bought one of these with the intention of getting it modded with a 2.5" collector but I'm thinking of buying an SMSP B19 header for my build and was wondering what I can sell the Pro flow for since they are discontinued and a lot of people were interested in buying back then.

Ok, I guess I'll just give it away since it seems worthless now

The Edelbrock headers were so great because of the awesome price they were selling for through Summit. Not that they are a bad header at all, but I think most of the interest was due to the price. You will have a hard time selling it for more than you had paid for it.

Agreed. The draw to the Pro-Flow was the inexpensive price.

My father runs one on his CR-X with a 2.5" collector mod, and it seems to do just fine.

Edelbrock made 2 less hp but 2 more lbs of tq on prostreetimport's LS/VTEC build.

keeping the Edelbrock will save you money and net you almost dead on equal gains as the smsp.

also, if you hood gets popped by the police, it has a carb number welded on it.
that's why i went with one on my old gsr..best mod i ever did, next to switching to an ITR tranny

Do you think the gains (with the 2.5" mod) would be more or less the same

pro street import is in no way affiliated, supported, or endorsed by edelbrock.
why would edelbrock do such a thing for a product that they decided to stop making anyways?

so why would eugene @ pro street import, known to be honest and trustworthy, lie about the gains on it? he liked your header only because it BARELY edged the edelbrock pro flo out up top (by 2hp) and would give a hair's advantage, if that, for drag..and he was able to net on overall higher number..
but for the money, he liked the edelbrock as well.

he's a third party, and you are smsp, so of course you're going to support your own product..but don't call it BS..because it's not.

you'd gain significant midrange and a decent amount up top.
i had the mod done after already installing it on the car without the mod...
difference was night and day.

The header is still made but only comes in the option of a 1 piece at the higher price.
