Questions on new SI
Long story short, seriously looking at the new SI, i have a few questions.
I looked on the site, and it wont allow me to compare the features of the different civic models - so basically - besides the exterior differences, and seats + motor - whats the difference between the SI and the other models (say base for arguments sake)
How is the ride quality? Interior sound noise?
How do the K series respond to basic bolt ons?
Will a honda dealer deny warranty with intake/exhaust? (I know that this is dealer dependant in most cases, but companys like mitsubishi are known to deny warrantys based on things like uneven tire wear = abusive driving = no warranty etc)
Whats the year to year differences? Ie: could I just pick up a 2006 and it would be essentially the same as the 2008?
How are dealers with test drives? I'm a 23 year old guy, and 23 year old guys have a bad reputation as joy riders and tire kickers, I really don't feel like dealing with BS at the dealerships.

The most dramatic differences are the Si has 60 more hp, an LSD 6sp manual. Cooler interior.
Get the Si. I wish i did. I got a crappy lx because i diddnt wanna make payments. But the Si would of been worth it.
The difference in Gas mileage is the lx,ex gets 30 city and 38 hwy. Si gets like 24 city and 32 hwy. Not bad for +60 hp.
The Si feels more expensive than it really is if that makes sense.

not really 100% sure but i think the 06 SI has the rev hang and the 07+ dont have the rev hang...ive noticed this from workin on them at my dealership
for a stock exhust system i think it sounds pretty nice from outside and inside the car...the shifter feels really nice compaird to the other 06+ civic with manuals trans...seats feels comfy too..vtec at 6gs doesnt feel like any b series ive driven...the HFP package looks freakin sick as hell too
