Default 90-91 Bumper & Dash on 89?

OK so here's the deal. I got sucked into the EF scene after I kept riding in my friend's EF for a good amount of time. So I got one (not knowing **** about them) and I realize I want a 90-91 dash and front bumper. I was told that the bumper won't fit right (gaps) but it's possible. What about the dash? sorry if this is N00b stuff.

Thanks.

Don't bother with the dash, there's not enough of a difference.

For the bumper, are we talking about a CRX, hatch or sedan? Not all EFs are created equally.

Doesn't look edited. But to answer your question, if you want to run the 90-91 bumper on your hatch, you have to use the 90-91 bumper support. I've done the reverse (91 with 88-89 bumper). It'll work with the matching bumper support

Just swap the cluster housing. Thats really the only difference anyway.

If you have a complete 90-91 dash, with ALL of the brackets and such you could switch it over but it is kinda pointless IMO.
If you really want to switch it up get a 91 CRX dash and center console with all the brackets and switches etc, with an optional armrest too.

As far as the front bumper you can get a JDM front end but that gets pricey.

If you do go the 91 front end route it would also be wise to get the side moldings and rear bumper to have a matching set, the trim is different between 88-89 and 90-91.

If you are replacing the bumpers because of damage, go ahead and do it. If not keep yours the way they are

I don't like the 88-89 front. Mine has no damage other than fade. I just want it until I can afford a JDM front but I mainly spend my money on my Si.

The dash I want because I want a bigger cluster. I'm weird about things and I personally prefer the 90-91 dash/cluster.

I think I'm just going to swap the cluster housing like he said. But either wait I'm converting my blue interior to black so i might as well get the whole thing.
