Gauge problem?
Alright here i am again with my 94 project SI coupe, the Temp gague is always going up for nothing and than go down to normal cruising temp, same thing with t
he gas sometime is just lower than it was when i cut off the engine, ( smells like gasoline too not exaust , gas) might be a hole on top of my gas tank i dont know.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!!

For your gas leak, inspect the motor, specifically around the injectors and fuel rail to check for any leaks ( strong smell of gas obviously, if no puddles of gas are present) This is because over time the o-rings just wear out, dry up and start leaking.
Rarely is there a case where someone has a hole in the gas tank
As for your temp guage, it could either be a real problem ( poor coolant circulation, bad pump, airbubbles/pockets) or a wiring malfunction. only way to tell is to try another cluster , see if the same stuff happens.

I actually find out that the Temp gauge is working fine now, i think the hose werent properly installed and needed more water, But for the gaz smell there is no puddle on the ground and the gaz tank is considered really in good condition from Honda, soo i guess it might be those O-Ring i dont really know where i can find them though, still a noob in mechanic.
