I bought a 2006 S2k Private Party cash and now I need a loan.

The problem I dont know where to get a loan now. I already tried two credit unions and since this is my first loan I'm having a hard time. My credit score is 720+.

I can't get approved anywhere?

I tried LBS Credit union and orange county's credit union. Now I just need to here back from western Credit union. Anyone in the OC know where a first timer can get a loan? I probably need a co signer.

 

What do you need a loan for if you already paid for the car in cash?

I get my loans through E-Central credit union. You have to live in a specific area or have a family member in it to join though.

 

credit union is best.... but if u paid cash... leave it that way....

 

I'm assuming the cash was not yours but someone elses and now you have it pay it back?

I would say OCTFCU, but it looks like you already tried. Not sure where else you can go ...

Hey since you "own" the car .. did you think about maybe a personal loan instead of an auto loan?

And for what its worth do not buy cars from Carmax .. their "thorough" checklist is crap. A friend sold his car to carmax (was in an accident) and got a **** load more than he thought .. which means the cost is passed to the buyer

you can try wells fargo .. but their interest rate is insane. WAMU doesnt do used car loans.

Btw im sure you head the interest rate was cut back .. so it might help you there.

If anything go to the mafia for a loan lol.

 

Update I got a loan thru my Credit Union at work.

NO co signer

5.99% for 60 months

I'm so stoked!!! that interest rate is even lower than before.
