igh now ive got the motor coming in bout a week i need the tranny but im doing the h2b kit i was told go gsr with lsd but i looked it up n they said go type r on the h22a but wuts the difference??

 

What's the link you looked up? Let me read that it should be the same.

 

the type r has shorter gearing. i think it's all to do with the final drive. not sure though

 

The ITR is the best B series transmission at 4.785 final drive but what does it have to do with the H series swap. Moshaw performance what is the link you looked up saying go with type r?

 

he is doing a h2b swap. meaning a h22 with a b series tranmission. so hence the type r is the desirable one.

 

yah im goin h2b swap on it the site i saw it on i didnt write down but i asked this my friend that works at honda dealership n he sayed the only thing better bout it is the 5th gear that its basically ame but he also said to build my own tranny from the type r base and like take out the first three gears and for the first gear go gsr but i dont know thats possible

 

you can definetly make your own but more trouble then it's worth in my own mind.
