cam squeek?
Today i was jumping my friends truck and i was giving my car gas at about 3000 rpm and after about 15 sec of that i heard a light squeek that sounded like it was coming from the cam. After i let off the gas it went away. Seems like it squeeks every once in a while while giving it gas. Any ideas as to why this is happening. By the way i have a dpfi d15b2 stick shift.

Errrrrrr, OK. I used to jump U-Haul Ford F350s with my hatch all the time, never had a problem.
I'd be willing to bet it's a belt squealing. Can you isolate where the squeaking noise is coming from?
