So did I.
GSR tranny is for cruising, I miss it because my car is a daily driver.
It depends on what you are trying to do with the car.

On the freeway, and raping beamers, I notice it alot. The ITR is shorter in the higher gears. Quicker acceleration, higher crusing rpms.
For example, the GSR is 4000RPM at 80, the ITR is closer to 4500 at 80.

I know that from driving from both SiR-G integra which is your GSR in the states and my own ITR which is the same as your Type Rs too, the SiR-G has a longer final drive compared to type R which means that when you're crusing on the motorway sitting at 100km/, the SiR-G would be revving lower than the type R. Change in final drive from memory would mean u'd see shy 3,000rpms driving 100km/h while with a type R one, you'll see 3,500rpms
Please realize that USDM ITRs and GSRs both have identical 4.40:1 final drives. The Spec 98 and newer JDM ITR has a 4.785:1 final drive. WHat do you hope to change?

Yep, it's 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th you need to change, not the final drive. That would change 1st also, which is the same in those trannys.
