Look here, and look under the various screens for the A/C system. They show you pretty comprehensively what you need.

Edit: Beat to the punch

Honda sells an A/C "kit" Part #: 80000-S04-A12. It's usually ~$800.

The dealers I have talked to say honda no longer carries that kit but can not remove it from their system for some reason.

I have considered adding AC but even though lots of people on HT remove theirs have not found anyone who wants to sell

I had A/C in my 92 CX. Took it out since I put in my LS. Planning to reinstall it though. Good luck man.

try to find someone on here selling their a/c parts, like i did, and what ever you dont get you can pick up from Majestic Honda. I am currently doing an a/c install in my 99 hatch that did not come with a/c and so far I have only spend $200 and the install isn't that hard.

I bought most of the big items (condensor, compressor, dryer and lines) form one of the members here and picked up all the bolts, nuts etc from Majestic Honda. Picked up the Evap box and pulley from a used Honda Parts place.

All that stuff cost money. Go the easy route. Roll the windows down and hit the gas pedel.
No, go to a junk yard and get a totaled car. Obviously not a front end hit, and take all the parts off of it.

What about the wire harness to control the AC is it the same if your came with or without it? I know you need to change the controls but is the wiring already there from the factory?

here if you have 400.00 plus shipping and hadling you could buy all the components you would need to convert your car to A/C ,,, they have the whole A/c system on ebay for sale.

check the link out below ... that is the stuff you need

It will be very expensive to get a/c in that car, I would get another hatch that has the stock a/c installed and avoid the hassles...
