RPM gauge not working
I recently bought a 2001 4 door Civic EX. The RPM gauge has been acting up lately. Normally the car idles at about 600 RPMs. Now the car is idling at 3000 RPMs. Also when I turn the car off the RPMs don't drop they stay at about 2000. It appears the gauge is either stuck or completely broken. Is this gauge controlled by a fuse? How easy it to replace the gauge? What can I do to diagnose the problem?

Troof... But I find it kind of odd that it just slipped on it's own... might want to check for wear when you readjust it, it may just happen again.

turn on ignition
turn headlights off-on-off
release trip button and quickly press 4 times.
