anyone know anything about the b21a1 in the old preludes?
i have owned a couple ludes, they had b20a5's in them, and i have also owned many swapped civics. never have i tried to combine the two but have thought about it. the b21's where i am from are notorious for loosing compression. (rings, seals, bore seem to be weak)
a 2.0L lude motor is actually weaker than the b18 as far a HP, but i have drivin alot of vtecs and they still didnt hit powerband like those old 2.0L's.
the main issue with the swap would be the unique angle of the block, 12 or 16 degrees IIRC. most likely the intake manifold will hit the firewall. worth a try though, that kind of torque in a civic would be nice.

however 95_acc0rd is right, it is pointless when you could swap in b16a vtec for alot less effort and get alot more power.
