Default Anyone use a Sata Jet 90??...

Any painters out there use a Sata Jet 90?? Picked one up for cheap and wanted to know your views on it... Never sprayed with one before and since its not an HVLP i know there will probably be lots of overspray so what would it be best for? Clear? Base?
Thanks guys!

I use to use the NR 95's just about every day. They are HVLP but still were pretty old SATA's. For me they worked great and could be used with any standard paint, base or clear. We only used them for base guns but could clear with them, no problem. If its used I would check it out right away, spray pattern, tip, cap, ect. It should work good as long as the tip size isn't super huge.

that's definately a clear gun. it would be alright for single stage too, but if you're wanted to spray base i'd go with a 1.3 tip that is HVLP.

It should work ok, a 1.3 HVLP would be ideal for base but it s good to have extra guns. You might find out its not woth the cost of a 1.3 needle and cap kit to convert it from the 1.4 size. SATA parts can be expensive. As far as the 2000's those do rock.
