Can you estimate horsepower based on trap speed
Car is a sedan trapping 112mph only.
Any guess?
Sorry no access to the dyno in my place.
Sorry, car is a 4 door sedan with B16A, T3 Turbo, Not sure of tranmission, 5 speed though.
Car is not mine but friend wants to know maybe some people have numbers for this type of trap speed

Why is that ridiculous? Trap speeds don't lie, they can't "read" high, they can't be miss calibrated.Dynos are good tuning tools. That's it.The numbers don't mean **** if it's not backed up at the track.
To the op.The only way you could get the formula right was if you know your EXACT weight with the car with you in it on the day the car was ran.

excellent guessing guys... id say about 300whp as well... i had something kinda close to those numbers on lower boost making 292 whp at 12 psi on a built b16 in a DA with full interior weighing in at 2662 and i was trapping 13.1's all day long and consistantly at 110-113 mph...
