cheap ebay what they claimed to be cat converter is just the test pipe for like ($50 shipped)..is not a real cat converter..a real aftermarket cat converter on ebay costs over $100
What's wrong with an oem replacement?
Unless you have a ridiculous build, you're talking about the difference of 1-2 horsepower for a several hundred dollar part.
Save the environment, get an oem replacement. On the plus side your exhaust note stays quiet.

A new one! just kidding. Like ek said, Go for a oem replacement. Not alot of smog shops deal with the high flow stuff and they don't get them hot enough.
Got mine for 84 bucks and installed for 30 Whenever a customer has replaced the cat I tell them to replace the O2 sensor too. Just to keep everything happy.
One thing I would suggest is try the O2 sensor first because it moves your A/F ratios back and forth so the cat can work as efficiently as possible. Unless you know the cat is bad that is.

No "high flow" or "performance" cat is an oem replacement. High flow cats don't filter the exhaust gasses the same. There was a thread about it in the hybrid forum.

Search on eBay for "Magnaflow High-Flow Cats" or something similar to that...the universal ones go for ~$60 shipped.
