Not much you can do with an illegal car. New regulations implimented last spring gives the DOT authority to impound and destroy imported vehicles that have not gone through the retrofit processes required by law. This can only be done via a DOT/NHTSA liscenced Registered Importer.

Although I do agree that the car is in supurb condition.

I deal with the importing of Japanese vehicles to the US and Canada, so I am familiar with a fair amount of the hoops you must jump through to get any car 100% legal.

I also happen to know, that as of July 22nd of this year, there were two Japanese Hondas registered with the DOT for street use.

Just so everyone is aware, having a titled car in X state, does not mean it is legal. The above mentioned DOT authority holds true even if you have a bill of sale and state issued title. If the car wasn't retrofitted via a Registered Importer, you are risking having the car destroyed all on your dime.

It's simple... get the car and track it. No registration worries at all.

<---- if purchased would sell all that PY crap on the inside and fund a cage and some other goodies.

I understand that rare = bling to everyone, but if those parts weren't stock on that RX.......nobody sure as hell would have purchased and put them there.

<---not a fan of the yellow RX "goodies" whatsoever.
