hey guys i am in a bit of a pinch here. i am at school and my car is acting up and i ran the CEL and got either vtec pressure valve, or secondary O2 sensor. it is a JDM b16 in an EJ1. it idles verrry rough and sometimes dies and when i try to criuse it backfires and studders hard.... but runs great under full throttle. also the rpms shot up to about 1500-2000 and it was blowing blue smoke... im trying to make sure those are the correct CEL'S but in the meantime any help is greatly appreciated.

clear the codes and take it for a short run, see if they come back. blue smoke would be oil
by the way, it's very doubtful that those codes are causing what u are describing

 

they cleared when i turned the car off and havnt come back since i have driven it... its acting funny still though

 

engine or ignition timing been messed with recently?

 

last time i worked on anything was to change the oil. i had it tuned 2 months ago and had no problems... havnt touched the dizzy or plugs/wires at all... i may be fouling a plug but i need the socket to pull em out... still doesnt explain the blue smoke. :/
