some guy was selling this on craigslist "$1000, Integra Type R" so I was like send me some pictures asap
this is the email he sent lol
Well here we go.I am going to do a multi person email to save me some time.
The pictures are probably going to turn you away. But hear me out. I bought this car with intention of fixing up and reselling, but my time and money never got in to it. The hood looks like a mess, and i can explain it if you are interested in the car. but the hood works. I have the hood pins but have not put them in yet. The paint is not done. I bought it pretty much as it is now with some improvments. I put the headlights in, made a hood work,(had no hood), and a few various things. As for the completion this car, this is what it needs:
1. Paint-It is primer now, but whoever did it (not me) didnt do it right. The paint wasn't sanded. He just painted over the stock paint and it isn't working out too well. My plan was to sand it down and prime it, and spray it with single stage urethane. A kit only runs about $90 with shipping. And a paint sprayer kit is about that much too. Before paint, it needed a little bondo work mostly on the hood.
-The hood is a 95 hood cut in half to fit the fenders, and stripped of its underframing to fit the depth. I welded it together. It is pretty solid. A few tweaks and it should be good as new.
2. Interior-the interior is fine. everything works except one window motor but i have a replacement that works that is included. The person i bought it from spray painted some trim accents lime green(I can get more pics if you are still interested), and in some places it is flaking off. My plan was to get some fabric spray paint and spray the whole interior black, and redo the accents with a higher quality paint probably in white. Seats work and seat belts and climate controls and cruise control. A/C is cold but a recharge might make it a little colder.
3. Right now there are a couple running issues that i will explain to anyone still interested.
It has a new clutch and newer brakes. 1.6L VTEC with DOHC. Cold air intake.
PLEASE!!!! I beg you. I really want to get rid of this car. I have a bottom that i will not go any less right now. This could be a cool car with a little time and effort and not a whole lot of money. Please make me an offer. THanks.
