Is there any Vtec engine that can be swapped into a 90 prelude si without too many custom modifications? I have seen an H22a dropped in, but I don't want to spend that much money...how bout a b16? Is there anything I can do to the exisiting engine (b21a1?)

I wouldn't waste money swapping in a new engine, unless you have too. Get a ludespeed turbo and upgrade traction, you will be able to beat major mo fo's.

I am also curious about this subject, and I was wondering if I could install a VTEC head because it is a B series motor and the parts from other B Series motors should be interchangable! I was also thinking about getting a Civic Si tranny or GSR tranny to see if it will bolt up.
