dx tranny on si?

Default dx tranny on si?

can i do this with out any problems, its off a 91 dx and i have a 91 si. do i need to worry about anything? i got with the clutch,pp,and flywheel.

All 89-91 will interchange with eachother. 88 will have a different spline.

thanks..just wanted to make sure...im doing it this weekend, i kinda lost first gear. it wont go in at all,and there was no early warning of this. car went into gear fine all the time till one stop light and shes gone. i have a sports clucth with inlighten fly and a good pressure plate on the si,can i use this on the dx trans.

I actually had first gear go out on me also. I kept driving for another 3 months and even did a track event without it. (You dont need 1st on the track is what I said) Well last day 2nd to last session out the transmission locked into second and wouldnt go into any other gear. Turns out it was the selector fork had broken and just happened to work up til that point. Im an idiot.

haha...well i guess thats what they mean by learning the hard way huh... im gonna rebuild the si tranny,till then i will just rock the dx,should be better on gas as to the si.

should be able too i got a d16 with a d15 tranny its not as quik but its good for the time being

i know the trans will bolt up.. i have a d15b vtec with a busted 91 si tranny...now i have a dx 91 tranny. can i use my sports clucth and pp with flywheel of the si onto the dx? thats my Q. thanks in advance.
