Default Head Gasket Question

I have a 92 H23 boosted prelude. Running 15psi on Prof tune. ARP Head studs built bottom end. I was running a Civic SI Half Radiator and every time I go into boost car will run hot and overflow tank will fill up with antifreeze. Ive since put a Koyo full size radiator in car and havent got to test it alot but now Im still getting a little antifreeze sitting on top of overflow tank. No where near as much as before. Is this the headgasket going out or maybe just blowing back through the overflow inlet. I have a Compression tester but how do you do a leak down test. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Pat

check your sleeves.... you probably have a sleeve sinking or raising... that sounds exactly like wat happened to me, no signs or a cracked head, bad/broken gasket, nothing... it was the sleeves, one sunk... when you get a sleeved engine too hott thats what tends to happen...

Yeah, I would pull the head and check everything out like he said. Also, Honda OEM head gaskets are just fine

You guys dont think it was from using too small of a radiator? The overflow only overflows when I come into boost. On the small radiator.. I dont know for sure If it will do the same with the new radiator. I will have to find out. But I can drive the car around just fine as long as I dont come into boost with the small radiator. No Overflow problems at all. I appreciate all the help.

Well, the head gasket could be leaking boost pressure into the coolant system and pressurizing it too much......or it could be from the smaller inadequate radiator like you said. Different things to check out....
