I think that is going to be a little harsh. Try simple green or you could buff it off.

Tree sap reacts to human urine, it liquefies. I tried it on my windshield, works great.

If you don't want to directly aim at the hood while pissing, **** in a bottle and apply it with cloth. Then proceed to wipe.

Yeah, the acid in your urine can corrode the finish of the carbon fiber, be careful with it

The hood will either have a clearcoat or a gel coat (the same thing boats have).

Test the Goo Gone in an inconspicuous location.

Btw, Simple Green can take paint off IF there is not a clearcoat. I'd think Simple Green and Goo Gone are just about as bad, only Simple Green is just a degreaser. Do you think a degreaser would take up sticky tree sap?

Anything acidic will work, its just a matter of strength. I certainly wouldnt put **** on my car, just because its acidic...orange cleaners (goo gone) and simple green are similar and are a bit easier to use. Yes, pee is free...but urea smells. Hell you can use vinegar

I would first try a clay bar, and if that didnt work, Id step up to goo gone on a cotton ball.
Last thing Id try would be to dilute some nail polish remover (acetone) in a 1:3 ratio w/ water.

Take a pic.

If you can't feel it but you can see it, you might want to try to polish it out instead. not sure how bad it is though.

I would definitely try Goo Gone first.

It that doesn't work, work up to something abrasive. I usually try polish first before I try a compound, just in case the more gentle polish works I'm less likely to do damage.
