so i have a b16a2 swap in a del sol, runnin a obd1 p30 ecu... my vtec kicks fine when im just acclerating it, but when i try to punch it... my car stops, fuel cuts, and blogs and hits vtec again after like 3 second.... and it repeats that process...

i know i dont have a knock senosr on hooked up could that b why? cel throwing 23 for knock snsor

 

get your ecu tuned and have the knock sensor deleted and your car will be fine... i have that done. i have been told the knock sensor actually detunes your car some.

 

so what if i run a chip p28? p28 bypass knock sensor right?

 

correct, P28's don't have a knock board...
