...you could always just put them in and see which one VTAKs harder

you'll need a micrometer to measure them properly, though I'm sure you could rig something up with a ruler or something.

yeah, use a caliper. the difference between a stock and the type S will be noticable.

ive got a set from a 96 USDM head, and a set from an F20B that both spec out at 1.451 inch max on the VTEC lobes

yeah, check that ****. one guy tried to sell me some usdm cams as type-s. luckily i own a micrometer.
