Default B16 studders

hey there having a small problem with my JDM B16. when i cruise down a road ith the gas barely open it studders and pops with backfires. also when im driving slow until it gets warm it will try to die and sputter and make my car hop around. the thing that confuses me is when its under full trhottle it pulls hard like theres no problem. anyone have ideas? i have run 94 octane since i put it in my car on a rebuild, and put injector cleaner in to see if that would solve the prolblem but didnt. thanks for any help.

Check your cap, rotor and plugs. It also might be your coil.

yea had it tuned at speedfactory about 2 months ago... runs very strong but i think i may have a bad plug or wire. its feels like unless its under full throttle the spark isnt hot enough to combust.

Either that or partial throttle tune could be off. Check your ignition stuff first, if you dont find an issue try getting your tune adjusted its getting colder out here now so maybe its not adjusting well. I know I need another tune because I tuned when it was like 90 out and now it doesnt even break 60.

yea thats what i was thinking... once it started getting cold it started acting funny. i may need to advance or retard my timing some on the distributor... it might just take some twisting and driving. im going to check my plugs and all that this weekend.... i dont have 150 for a tune right now.
