Cam may have advanced a tooth
The problem started w/ a CEL code 9 (CYP sensor) so I replaced the dizzy w/ a new one from Distribuitor King but that didnt clear the problem. I tried replacing the ECU w/ another one and still received a Code 9. My 90 CRX si did sit for over 4yrs so I guess an issue like this to be expected. Right now it bogs down after 2000rpm and slightly bucks @ 45mph in 4th.
My question: If my cam did indeed jump a tooth, how do I check this? pics would be awsome.
cheers

Should be simple to see if its timing then. Put a timing light on it and if its off you'll see right away. Jumping a tooth is pretty common and matches the symptoms your giving us. Give us an update after you check it.

No. Your car is telling you what the problem is. It's a code 9.
Which means that something on that circuit is bad.
