front end damage integra
i was wondering how much it will cost to fix the damages on the car, and seeing if its worth buying. seller askin price is 1000, seeing which would be easier just get a jdm itr front clip with and just weld on whats damage or take it to the shop and take it to the usdm front . and the car is auto so looking towards just buying the front clip from a show w/ lights and all... on w/ the pix

it dosent seem like the body is that bad not a hard fix. But.... that suspension is bad, really bad you could get lucky and its just the components are bent or it's in the frame and if its in the frame the car will never drive the same again and most likely be a pain to get aligned after being fixed. if thae components are just bent it would probably be 2-3k more if the frame is bent

Please shut up. All you people who constantly say a car that had the frame straightened will never drive the same again are morons. If you know anything about how to properly set up a car and pull it on the rack that job could be easy.
For me, hell yea that car is worth it. Seeing as how I have a booth and a rack to use for free.

I would Personally offer no more than 500 for that car, and def. wouldnt pay more than 800. I'd pull the GSR engine out, sell it locally for as much as possibly (Probably around 1200) and use that to fund the repairs.
As the guy said, if the frame is bent, then I probably wouldn't even bother due to the amount of effort it would take to fix it, and the $$$$ needed. If its just parts, the money from the engine would be a good stepping stone for financing repairs, and I would just find another engine once the car is completely fixed up and swap that in there.
..but that might be Just me.

offer him 600, pull the swap out and sell for 2k+, sell remaining parts for 2-500. call your local wreckers to pick up the shell. Then at the end of the day count your profit
sorry for the pix but the car has an a ls, the seller told me today that she is going to have someone fix the front for 200, and see what i'll offer but seeing hwo the job is done i'll get pix and see.
There is NO WAY she will get it fixed for $200. It needs a bumper, fender, suspension, inner structral parts, paint work........ and thats just from a crappy picture.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You Might Have A rack and a frame puller. I'm not saying you cant get it as close to specs as possible But it's not going to be perfect and are almost always going to have issues with uneven tire wear to premature suspension wear.

Obviously you're not a professional body tech/ front end guy. There are exact procedures to fix something like that, it's not that bad, but will cost much more than $200.
That is what you would call a gravy repair, here at the shop. I'll have to post some real wrecks....before and after.

HAHA, We have 2 car-o-liner racks, 2 Cheif racks and one Kansas jack rack. Once ill get the time to download the pictures ill show you the cars we repair on those racks. After a front and rear alignment these are all well in spec, or they dont leave. That is the only way it should be done. There is only one way to PROPERLY repair a car...and thats the right way. Maybe you were taught wrong, or had some shitty backyard guy without proper training repair a car, but any competent garage can properly pull and replace parts on a vehicle.
Like the other guy said, this is a easy job compared to some of the things that are in here now.
