Default Trying to find speakers, are they specific to my model of car?

I just bought a set of front and back speakers and the clip on my harness does not fit the prongs on these speakers. Am I supposed to buy speakers specifically made for my integra? This is gay, will I really need to solder and hack apart my harness for some lowsy speakers?

What year is your 'Teg?

What speakers did you buy?

Which speaker connectors did you buy?

I have a 96, I bought cheap Polk Audio DB651 2-Way 6 1/2" . I didnt buy any speaker connectors, I'm guessing those are adaptors? I didnt know the made those. I just dont want to have to cut my harness.

Buy these... You can get them at Circuit or Best Buy or most other car stereo retailers...
