Default Type R into Integra LS how Hard?

So my GSR got its face smashed in yesterday and car is totalled but i told my insurance company to suck it because i'm keeping my Frankenstein B18C Block with a milled down GSR head and so on. Anyways i found a 1996 LS same year as my GSR and its a complete shell with no motor and trans which is perfect for what i need ( cheaper insurance ) I was wondering how hard is it gonna be to swap my motor into the Ls should i attempt to do my first swap on this myself or pay some place to drop it in there for me?

Any ITR into a LS is almost impossible. Its like a k20 into a CRX.

On a more serious not there will be a little wiring involved but its pretty basic just unplug and plug back in, unbolt and bolt up. When you dont know where a plug goes take a pic and post it on honda-tech.

i say do it yourself. be patient and take your time (how redundant...) make sure you have a manual and some damn good instructions on wiring v-tec... good luck!!!!!

like st. jimmy said,"unplug and plug, bolt off, bolt on."
its mainly plug and play. a manual would be great to have.
search some sites and study, its real easy!.
do it yourself and save money.

I'm in process of this and I'm having some problems..

I'm doing a jdm itr to ls shell

I got everything to run, wired the vtec solenoid and knock... since it is jdm and I'm runnin the jdm ecu there is only one wire for vtec. the plug that goes in sideways is blocked off.

The itr is obd2, the ls shell is obd1

I used the obd1 harness, changed the injectors, distributor from a b16 and alternator from the ls.

My rpm gauge bounces and the car shuts off, it bogs at times.

I changed the spark plugs, checked the timing with the markings, distributor is fine...

Now I'm left with just process of elimination... trying to get a hold of another ecu to try out and see if that could be the problem.
