i just need some clarification on the part number, this is what the sponsor told me whats included "26101 12436 Honda Civic EG6 Rear Disc Brake Conversion 3 w/ prop valve" is the text in bold the right part number?...

also i am waiting on a reply to see if it comes with ebrake cables... i am assuming i would need 92-95 Si hatch cables is this correct?

 

how are we supposed to know? there's no honda part number for a rear disc swap. All the parts from honda are sold seperately.

clarification on that mystery part number would help us understand

 

that is JHOT's personal number...you have to have the SI ebrake cables

 

pretty sure integra e-brake cables work too on EG's

 

If you are doing a disc conversion go ahead and get the DC rear disc conversion. It comes with the ebrake cable, then visit fastbrakes.com and get ya some 11.1" NSX upgrades

yeah i got gsr brakes on my 94 hatch and every thing botled rite up.. no porblems at all.

any rear disc set up will work:
90-93 integra
94-01 integra
92-95 civic
96-00 civic

and yes replacing the prop valve will make a difference. you will need a prop valve from a 90-93 integra or from a 94-95 integra ls (non-abs).

here is the part# 46210-sk7-q01, it will be stamped 4040 on it, this will verify you have the right one.

just be prepared to have stripped nuts and you might have to replace lines. swapping out the prop valve is the hardest thing to do in a rear disc swap. especially if things strip or break, just makes things harder.

 

okay wait wait everyone.... i am ordering EG6 rear disc brakes they should be exactly the same as the 92-95 si sold here in the USA.... i am not using integra rear disk, so do i still have to use the (4 wheel disc.) prop. valve that comes with the conversion?

if you are doing a conversion from drums to discs, which that's what it sounds like.
then they are all the same, except the itr of coarse.

and yes, you will need the prop valve. it all has to do with the amount of fluid that is sent to the rear. discs requires more than drums.

 

oh alright so ill need to use the prop valve thats rear disc. specific, and i will get some line wrenches hopefully it doesnt strip out.

 

I acculy stripped more lines with the wrench that without! I use a #10 or carefully use vise grips now

 

strippin hard lines sucks.

 

one more question, is it neccessary to upgrade the master cylinder?
