i bought a skunk 2 im and it has a 62 mm bore for the throttle body and i was wondering if i could fit a 65mm or 68mm on it or what would i need to make it fit?
What engine are you putting the t/b and i/m onto? Personally I wouldn't bore a stock t/b, I know lots of people don't mind but I feel more comfortable using one that was made at the bore I want, so the walls don't get thin and crack-prone.
You can port out the i'm to an extent to match it to the t/b, takes some skill & finesse with the grinder though

Then don't worry about port-matching a larger t/b, there is no reason to go larger than 62mm on a D16 anyways. Hunt down a stock ITR throttle body and be done with it, or you could get another aftermarket one. You can't overbore your stock one that far anyways.
What's done to the z6 (aside from bolt-on's)?
If you don't have a more aggressive cam that call for a larger throttle body, I would just use the stock one.
I don't know how Skunk2's plenum volume compares to that of the OEM manifold, and I'm not sure what they recommend for throttle body size. You mentioned the manual said to bore your stock one? Did it say how much?
Whatever the case, 65 is way too big, and 68 is just ridiculous.
