I have a freshly built LS-Vtec 81.5mm 9:1 compression set up. The only issue is getting a tuner to do a break in tune for me. My previous set up was a stock LS turbo. Using the same turbo kit and same sized injectors, would it be feasible to use my LS-T tune to break in my new set up? Of course I'll be only driving at partial throttle, and not boosting. I figured i'd ask this question because I've heard from other people who've used stock GSR maps to break in their 2 liter low compression GSR turbo set ups (using stock injectors of course).
If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

You have a couple of options.
Option 1. Start the car on stock injectors & a stock ecu and break in the motor out of boost.
Option 2. Get a basemap for your engine management system & get your self a wideband. Watch the a/f ratios closely.

I wish i could get some stock injectors to work, but i'm running some peak & hold injectors, thus I'm using a resistor box. Would running some stock DA injectors work?

I'm trying to do that as well.. but my tuner has been busy lately, and I'd figure if i can atleast break it in without him, i can then schedule a dyno tune with a shop.

Yea, previous tune was on these injectors.
