water going inside the engine bay please read

water going inside the engine bay please read

whenever i wash my car, sometimes water go inside the engine bay but i found out the rubber thing surrounding the inside of the hood is gone and that's the problem. what's the rubber thing call surrounding the inside of the hood from water going in and where can i get it? please help HT!

how do you know that water goes into your engine bay??? that rubber stuff around the front of your hood is just weather stripping...which keeps the water out.
