upgrading rotors?
Using different rotors will not make a significant difference in stopping power.
Two-piece rotors will last longer when subjected to heat from track use, but are expensive.
I've found that all better-quality one-piece rotors last pretty much the same amount of time and number of track miles. That's why I'm using the $25 Duralast rotors from Autozone, even on my heavily-tracked car.

Why? Rotors are a wear item. Those that can drive their Hype R near the limit on the track will burn up a set of fronts in a weekend. No sense in paying for the Brembo name when a set of Autozone cheapies will do the same job, and go in the same trash bin.

The Autozone rotors don't go in the trash. They go back to the customer service desk when they are cracked with and they give you another set for free. That's why I use the Autozone rotors

I thought the Harris boys had single-handedly ruined that warranty?
Truth - it used to be a year at least, now it's what, three months?

According to the website, it's 2 years on the Legend Duralast rotors. I've never had a problem exchanging them. They look at them funny sometimes and ask what the hell happened. They usually say that you probably have a stuck caliper and should get that fixed

Use up a set of rotors in a weekend? Nonsense. I put 1,366 actual track miles (over 10K total miles) on my last set of Autozone rotors before I had to replace them.

for cheating, taking advantage of a warranty that was never intended to replace parts for track use. That is WRONG, and you know it. Shame on you!
