wat tranny should i put on a my b18a? give me the best opinions out there please bc i am going crazy.

would i go wrong if i put a b16 or a b20 tranny.

just need a lil help.

Your in New Jersey.... what are you even doing in the southeast classified forum lol

First of all- b20 tranny wont work
B16- very tight gears, high RPMS while cruising, best acceleration
B18b (ls) -Longest gears, slowest aceleration, lower rpms while cruising
B18c- good mix between the two, a little more on the acceleration side , but has low gears for cruising

what are your plans with the car?

mod can someone bring this to a diff forum?

Personally I like the ls motor + b16 tranny it's fun for what it is.

 

Ill have to agree- Nothing like a torquey motor and a short geared tranny.
I have a b20 with b16 tranny right now and love it- Eventually i will be going with a b16 custom geared with a ls 5th and LSD
